Another new pursuit.
Another lazy excuse of a website.
when you operate in an environment where the majority of people are designers, it becomes very evident that people pass over ‘well designed’ imagery. i have been getting lots of attention for research posters i’ve been whipping up in minutes, and here’s a small sampling of things that don’t have anything that’d be considered confidential.
At the end of the day, superficial simplicity is just the denial of complexity, not it’s resolution.
It’s cool to look back on the really crappy, the really rough, the really slapdash moments of product design. The fact that these sketches and scribbles are now resultant in a physical object is fucking magical.

This ordinary-looking duster — the fruit of a summer’s labor! I’m proud to say this cute little guy is one of the products/projects I significantly shaped two summers ago while interning at Smart Design.
Working on such a strange object made me aware of the many crazy nuances that go into producing a combined soft/hard good, and the constraints that come with such a thing.
